Southwest Aluminum's first domestic sewage treatment facility successfully accepted

Recently, the indicators of the domestic sewage treatment facilities of the Southwest Aluminum Forging Plant passed the water quality monitoring and acceptance of Jiulongpo District Environmental Protection Bureau in Chongqing and the first domestic sewage treatment system of Southwest Aluminum was officially put into operation.

It is understood that the plant's on-line monitoring system of environmental monitoring total line is affected by the direct discharge of domestic sewage, the monitoring data is not stable, chemical oxygen demand, ammonia nitrogen and other indicators have been seriously affected. In order to adapt supporting facilities and sewage treatment capacity requirements, in accordance with Chinalco's "One-day Green Action" activity implementation plan, in August last year, the installation of domestic sewage treatment facilities began construction as one of the projects of Southwest Huanhuan. Under the unified planning of the Southwest Aluminum Safety and Environmental Protection Department and the Equipment Engineering Department, the forging plant equipment protection department, production safety department, and power meter control station fully cooperated to ensure the installation of the facility is carried out in an orderly manner, and facilities such as signage and pipeline flow are provided. The components are closely monitored and targeted measures are taken to promote the discharge of pollutants to the national first-level emission standards.

Domestic sewage discharge is an important part of Chinalco's "One-day Green Action" environmental comprehensive renovation project. The relevant person in charge of the Production Safety Section of the Forging Plant introduced that the operation of the facility will greatly improve the status of wastewater discharge of the plant, effectively improve the discharge quality, further reduce the amount of sewage discharged, increase the reduction rate of water pollutants, vigorously promote the environmental management of the company, and enhance the overall company Environmental protection level, promote green development.
