Bosch Introduces New Generation MIC Series Cameras

Bosch Security Systems has introduced its latest version of the MIC series of rugged high-speed/tilt/zoom cameras. This series of cameras now has a Bosch standard automatic hemispherical controller interface that makes it easier to integrate the MIC series into systems that have used Bosch monitoring products. The new controller also provides higher accuracy for the end user's camera functions and optical instructions.



The MIC Series cameras capture high-resolution images in the harshest environments, including monitoring critical infrastructure, traffic and downtown conditions. The vandal-resistant and corrosion-resistant design includes an IP 68/NEMA 6P-rated aluminum housing with a silicone wiper and reversible rain cover. The MIC Series 550 day/night and IR models deliver unmatched performance in the most challenging surveillance environments.





The MIC series cameras have 550TVL resolution and 36x or 28x optical zoom, providing clear images even at ultra-long distances. Its ultra-wide dynamic range easily adapts to changing light conditions, and it maximizes the details of the scene in bright and dark areas. In addition, the sodium vapor white balance mode also restores the color of the object image when affected by a street light or tunnel light.





The MIC Series 550 IR model has a pair of integrated long-life LED infrared lamps that ensure the camera can provide clear illumination up to 60 meters (197 feet) in total darkness. Infrared lamps are mounted directly on the camera to provide accurate lighting where needed.


All MIC Series cameras can be mounted upright, upside down or tilted 45 degrees without the need for special tools and without reducing the IP rating. This ability simplifies project planning and increases installation flexibility.
