Exports of Guangdong shoes show a trend of increase or decrease in prices

Statistics released by Guangzhou Customs recently showed that in the first four months of this year, Guangdong exported 1.32 billion pairs of shoes worth 3.43 billion U.S. dollars, a year-on-year increase of 18.5% and 9.9% respectively. It is noteworthy that the above data shows that the export of shoes in Guangdong has seen an increase or decrease in price. According to customs data, the average export price in April this year was US$2.30 per pair, a year-on-year decrease of 5.5%, and the average export price was the minimum since 2009. The average export price of low-grade plastic shoes, which accounted for the largest proportion of export volume, even fell to US$1.70 per pair, and combined RMB was less than 12 yuan.

According to data from Guangzhou Customs, from January to April, Guangdong still exports middle and low-grade plastic shoes, with exports of 900 million pairs, accounting for 68.2% of the total exports of Guangdong shoes over the same period, but the average export price is the lowest among all types of shoes. A downward trend of US$1.7 per pair, a decrease of 5.5%. In addition, although the average export prices of leather shoes and textile fabric shoes have increased, due to the small proportion of export volume, there is little impact on the downward trend in the overall average price.
