Extremely violent crimes and violent terrorist cases have occurred from time to time, and public security agencies continue to maintain the stability of public security.

Urban areas in the country have basically completed the construction of an alarm and monitoring system to achieve full coverage of key areas. Provincial and municipal level and county (district) level public security agencies have completed the construction of a monitoring and warning platform database to achieve trans-regional, inter-department, and cross-police Information sharing. We will actively explore the development of technical protection work in rural areas, and accelerate the formation of a new type of rural public security prevention and control system that will be supported by technical defense and complemented by air defense, technical defense, and physical defense.

During the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” period, the Public Security Department will also work hard to achieve further breakthroughs in security technology, and it will be safe in social risk assessment and monitoring technology, video image intelligence analysis technology, structured description technology of video images, and “Internet of Things” technology.
