The production of waterborne wood lacquer is a simple physical mixing process. The key issue is that the components are completely homogenized during the production process and this uniform state is guaranteed during the storage period until the end of the coating application. The entire production process is as follows.

1. Weigh a specified amount of resin emulsion or dispersion in a clean paint tank or pull cylinder, start the mixer, and slowly stir the emulsion at a rate of no more than 300r/min.

2. Slowly add excess water to the formula after deducting the water required for the pre-configured auxiliaries. The water required for production must be deionized or distilled water, and tap water, well water, and river water that have not been purified should not be used. Water and additives should be added by dropping or into a fine flow. It should not be added in a large amount in a violent manner to avoid delamination and agglomeration. Stir for about 5~10min after the addition.

3. Pre-dilute the anti-fungal agent with 3~10 times of water. The anti-mold agent is diluted as thin as possible. Slowly add the diluted fly to the mixing container, and add the mold inhibitor, while stirring, the rotation speed of the stirrer can be appropriately increased, the decomposition process can be accelerated, and the stirring is about 5 to 10 minutes. Some mold inhibitors are added directly to the emulsion to create a gel block that is difficult to disperse. Therefore, the principle of adding anti-mold agent is: the concentration is as much as possible, the addition is as slow as possible, and the stirring is faster.

4. Add wax oil and stir for 5~10min. The wax emulsion is easily mixed with the resin emulsion.

5. Add the filming aid directly to the mixer. After the addition, increase the rotation speed to 500~800r/min and stir for 10~20min. The film-forming aid may be added singly or in advance with a wetting agent, a surface modifier, or all or part of an antifoaming agent.

6. Add other additives such as wetting agent and surface modifier, and stir for 5~10min at 300~500r/min.

7. Add a thickener. The thickener is diluted with water or a film-forming auxiliary agent in advance, and the addition speed is slow, otherwise it is prone to agglomeration and cannot be stirred for a long time. Stir for 10~15min.

8. Add flavor. Stir for about 3~5min. The agitation speed can be reduced to 300 r/min, reducing the volatilization of the fragrance. The emulsion or dispersion of the waterborne wood lacquer is generally weakly alkaline, so it is no longer necessary to adjust the pH value. If the pH value is low, a pH adjusting agent may be added to mediate the ph to slightly alkaline, preferably between 7.5 and 9.

9. If some of the defoamer is left before, add it at this point for the final defoaming.

10. Stir the mixture for 10~15min after the whole material is added. During this period, the stirring speed is gradually reduced from 300 to 500 r/min to 100 r/min until the end of the stirring and the finished product.

11. Sampling inspection, including the appearance inspection of waterborne wood lacquer, viscosity measurement, solid content determination, painting the sample to observe the leveling property of the paint, sag, with or without shrinkage, bubble and bulging imagination, leaving the sample for 50 °C Thermal stability test and observation of other abnormalities. Filter the package after passing the test.

12. Pump the material into the filter and filter it through a 200 mesh (preferably 300 mesh or more) filter.

13. Each batch of paint must be stored for inspection

14. After the end of production, clean all equipment and pipes with tap water for re-production.

Water-reducible paint refers to a paint prepared by forming a Post-emulsified emulsion as a film-forming material, so that the solvent-based resin is dissolved in an organic solvent, and then the resin is dispersed in water to form an emulsion by strong mechanical stirring with the aid of an emulsifier, which is called after Emulsified emulsion, the finished paint can be diluted with water during construction. The water-dispersible lacquer mainly refers to a lacquer prepared by using a synthetic resin emulsion as a film-forming material. The emulsion refers to a dispersion emulsion composed of small particle groups in which unsaturated vinyl monomers are polymerized under a certain temperature in the presence of an emulsifier and dispersed in water. A paint prepared by adding a small amount of emulsion to a water-soluble resin cannot be called a latex paint. Strictly speaking, water-thinning paint cannot be called latex paint, but it is customarily classified as latex paint.
