"Twelfth Five-Year Plan" aluminum substitute copper will have substantial progress

An official of the China Non-Ferrous Metals Industry Association revealed on November 7th at the China International Mining Conference that the “Twelfth Five-Year” aluminum substitute copper will have substantial progress and will be produced on a large scale.

In recent years, as the price of copper has soared, aluminum-substituted copper has been mentioned many times in the industry, and some companies have begun to try to carry out research and development and application, but they have not carried out large-scale production. One important reason is that some properties of copper are not replaceable by aluminum. The use of aluminum on copper in air conditioners may reduce the performance of air conditioners.
