One of the research team members, Vilas Pol, said: "Our results suggest that pollen can produce carbon structures when used as anodes in renewable energy storage facilities." Specifically, researchers are interested in pollen that is actually synthesized from two natural sources, bee pollen and pollen pollen. Vilas Pol said: "We hope to learn something from nature that may be useful, use renewable raw materials to create a better battery." The researchers sampled each pollen naturally and pyrolyzed the sample in a high temperature atmosphere filled with argon. The researchers found that pollen after pyrolysis produced pure carbon. These pure carbons form pores when heated in oxygen, which helps them increase their energy storage capacity. When testing pollen anodes, the researchers found that it took only 10 hours to complete the recharging task. One hour was enough to fill half of the total electricity.
