New discovery of the third largest iron ore mine in northwestern Liaoning

After a one-year iron ore survey, a large iron ore deposit was discovered in the Fuxin Chamattun area.

According to preliminary estimates, the iron ore body reserves of No. 1 and No. 2 reached 30 million tons. This is the third largest iron ore found in the northwestern region of Liaoning Province after the Beiguo Baoguo Old Iron Mine and the Jianchang Madaozi Iron Mine.

After unanimous evaluation by experts, the discovery of the Zhamatun Iron Mine is a new breakthrough in the field of ore exploration under the geological structure covered by volcanic rocks.

According to experts, the new Chamatzun iron ore mine can reach an area of ​​53 square kilometers. Calculated according to reserves of 30 million tons, the direct economic benefits will exceed 10 billion yuan.

In addition, 173 million tons of long-burning coal resources have been newly discovered in the Fuxin area of ​​the province this year. Among them, 101 million tons were found in the Shenchang New City area of ​​Zhangxin County, Fuxin, and another 72 million tons were discovered in the Fuxin Badao area.

What is of concern is that more than 100 million tons of coal resources found in the Leijia area of ​​Shenchang New City are closer to Shenyang and will provide new impetus for Shenyang's economic development. According to relevant data, Shen Chang New City is only 90 kilometers away from Shenyang Central District and only 60 kilometers away from Shenyang Economic and Technological Development Zone.

The Fuxin Badaoyu area was originally a large-scale coal mine that had been developed for a hundred years. The original resources left can only be developed in less than three years. After the discovery of more than 72 million tons of long-flame coal, it can rely on existing coal mines for production. Looking at the current situation alone, an annual output of 1.5 million tons of coal mines and construction of coal for excavation will enable at least 3,000 people to be employed and can continue to develop for 40 years.

Calculated at a price of 500 yuan per ton of coal, the total price of 173 million tons of long-burning coal will reach more than 80 billion yuan. Shenyang consumes 13 million tons of coal annually, and 173 million tons of coal is available for 13 years.
