DuPont Co., Ltd. laminated glass products announced price increase notification

DuPont recently announced that it will increase the price of its laminated glass products from January 1, 2012. The prices of the company's Butacite, Butacite, Spallshield, Wedge, and SentryGlas series products will all be 6% higher than the current prices. This move is to respond to rising raw materials and transportation costs.

“The rising cost of raw materials and transportation is expected to continue in 2012. We must not raise our prices for continued investment, so as to ensure our future ability to provide customers with reliable supply and service in a growing market.” Stephen Cluff, DuPont Corporate Safety Glass Global Director said this way.
